PEEKABOO - KIEKEBOE

Peekaboo: the most subconsciously played game between a dog and his boss: peekaboo. A dog owner hides behind a tree. In this way he learns his dog to pay attention and to follow. In the opinion of adult Norwegian Buhund Skip it’s indeed a minors game. He plays the reverse version: he hides and I have to go looking for him.

Kiekeboe: misschien wel de meest  gespeelde spelletjesvariant tussen hond en eigenaar - al wordt dit vaak niet zodanig als spel gezien. Door zich achter een boom te verstoppen, leert men de pup dat hij op zijn baas moet letten. De volwassen Skip vindt dit lerend vermaak inderdaad iets voor jonkies. Hij bedacht er een eigen omgekeerde versie op: hij verstopt zich en ik moet hem zoeken.

BULLFIGHT

Dangle a muleta as a real matador (use par example a red towel). Invite your dog to attack the muleta. Just as he thinks he can catch it, flap it to another side or hold it in the air. Be enthusiastic: Olé. Your dog wins this game if he catches the muleta. Let him play for a few seconds with his ‘prey’.
You can also wrap the muleta over his head when he makes his moves beneath it. Now the dog can’t see you. Pretend that you are looking for him en play peekaboo. Shout: where is … (fill in his name) See how fast your dog frees his head again.

STIERENVECHTEN

Wapper als een onvervalste matador met een muleta waardoor de hond de 'rode lap' wil aanvallen. Net voordat jouw hond de lap te pakken krijgt, hou je ‘m hoger of zwaai je ‘m de andere kant op. Roep telkens enthousiast: Olé. De hond wint als hij de muleta vastgrijpt. Laat hem er kort mee prooi schudden. Geef het commando 'los', ga weer in positie staan en herhaal bovenstaand net zolang totdat je hond het spelletje moe is.
Door de muleta over zijn hoofd te draperen kun je ook het spelletje ‘kiekeboe’ spelen. Veins alsof je je hond zoekt en roep: waar is … nou?
