Norwegian Buhund Skip is a cheerful boy. He does the trick(s). He's gentle, peppy, smart, nosy, adorable, playful, smart, handsome, and an adventurous dog with an independent nature who loves hugs.

Skip is a very famous dog in the Netherlands. He appears monthly in the most popular Dutch dog magazine Hondenmanieren (dog manners) where he shows his tricks.

Favorite games: do tricks, excavate, chasing rabbits and mice, running around in the woods, playing with his owner.

Favorite food: everything except alcohol.

PEEKABOO - KIEKEBOE

Peekaboo: the most subconsciously played game between a dog and his boss: peekaboo. A dog owner hides behind a tree. In this way he learns his dog to pay attention and to follow. In the opinion of adult Norwegian Buhund Skip it’s indeed a minors game. He plays the reverse version: he hides and I have to go looking for him.

Kiekeboe: misschien wel de meest  gespeelde spelletjesvariant tussen hond en eigenaar - al wordt dit vaak niet zodanig als spel gezien. Door zich achter een boom te verstoppen, leert men de pup dat hij op zijn baas moet letten. De volwassen Skip vindt dit lerend vermaak inderdaad iets voor jonkies. Hij bedacht er een eigen omgekeerde versie op: hij verstopt zich en ik moet hem zoeken.

WISSELTRUC - FAST-CHANGE NUMBER

Has your dog a problem with the command 'release'? Does he steal your glove and won't give it back  to you? Here's a playful version. Throw your other glove away. The dog now wants that one of course. He'll drop the one in his mouth. At the same time you pick up that glove. Keep alternating untill you reach the point that the dog gets tired, looses his interest or wants to trade for kibble.

Is jouw hond een vasthouder die  moeite heeft met loslaten? Probeert hij 's winters je handschoen in te pikken? En lukt hem dat ook? Zwier dan je andere handschoen een eindje weg. Terwijl hij deze verruilt voor de gestolen handschoen in zijn bek, raap jij de op de grond gevallen handschoen op.  Deze gooi je weer weg, de hond verruilt 'm weer enzovoorts.

HIDE AND SEEK - VERSTOPPERTJE

VERSTOPPERTJE

Tamme konijnen die niet onder de indruk zijn van honden, bedenken zelf het spelletje ‘je ziet me wel, je ziet me niet’ door te switchen tussen ren en nachthok. Er bestaan ongelovige honden die aan de achterkant van het hok onderzoeken of zich daar het verdwenen konijn ophoudt.

Tame rabbits that aren't impressed by dogs, invent their own games such as: play hide and seek. Suspicious dogs think that the rabbit disappears at the back of the cage and seek there.

Lopen uw tamme konijnen overdag los, maar moeten ze ’s avonds in het hok vanwege kattengevaar? Dan is dit de-konijnen-in-het-nachthok-dirigeren een klasse klusje voor uw hond. De hond geeft ze met zijn snuit een zetje tegen hun kontje. Zo zullen ze gauw doorhebben wat de bedoeling is en in hun hok ‘vluchten’. Daar ligt een konijnenknabbeltje klaar. Ook de hond krijgt na afloop een beloning. Hebben de konijnen geen zin in de gedwongen verhuizing, dan gaan ze van tevoren vanzelf het hok in.
